Crete among the 25 best islands in the World – Travel & Leisure survey 2022

Every year the Travel & Leisure magazine asks readers to weigh in on travel experiences around the globe to share their opinions on the top cities, islands, cruise ships, spas, airlines, and more. Readers rate islands according to their activities and sights, natural attractions and beaches, food, friendliness, and overall value.

According to the famous magazine for 2022, Crete is among the 25 best islands in the world (22nd place with 89.40 points) and also in No.7 in the list with the best European islands.  

Greece retains bragging rights, with seven highly lauded islands, including Mílos (No. 2), Páros, (No. 3) and Crete (No. 7). These three appear on the World's Best Islands list as well, thanks to their photogenic beaches, fresh seafood, and ancient sites. 

For the same survey in previous years, Crete is constantly in the list with the best islands. In similar surveys from Traveler, Crete is also in the list with the best islands in Europe (3^rd place in 2020, 9^th place in 2021 etc).

We already know that we live in paradise but it is always nice to read about it!
